Last updated September 3, 2026. How Techbylanz handles data from our website, web apps, and mobile apps — for account management and development delivery only.
Who we are
Techbylanz Business Solutions (“Techbylanz”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a software studio that designs and builds custom websites, web applications, mobile applications, Shopify stores, and AI systems for clients worldwide.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through our company website (techbylanz.com), contact forms, and through web or mobile products we operate or deliver as part of a client engagement — and how we use that data. It also explains our commitment that customer and end-user data will not leak, be sold, or be shared without a lawful basis and a clear business need.
Scope of this policy
This policy covers: (1) visitors to our marketing website and blog; (2) people who contact us about a project; (3) accounts created for clients or their teams in products we build or host (for example Shafitness, Shasalon, or client-owned apps); and (4) limited operational data needed to develop, deploy, support, and maintain those systems.
Data collected inside a client’s own live product is used only for that product’s account management, authentication, and agreed development or support work — not for unrelated marketing or resale by Techbylanz.
What data we collect from the website
When you use our website or contact form, we may collect: name, email address, phone number, company name, service interest, budget range, and the project message you submit. We also receive basic technical information that browsers and servers typically provide (IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP) for security, spam prevention, and site reliability.
We may use analytics or tag managers (such as Google Tag Manager) to understand aggregate traffic. These tools help us improve the site; they are not used to sell your identity.
What data we collect from web and mobile apps
For web applications and mobile applications we develop or operate, we collect only what is required for account management and the development / delivery process. Depending on the product, that may include:
Account and identity data — name, email, phone, login credentials (stored hashed or via a trusted auth provider), role or permission level, and organization or tenant membership.
Operational product data — records the app needs to function (for example membership status, appointments, or device configuration), solely as defined by that product’s features and your agreement with us or the app owner.
Development and support data — bug reports, crash logs, access logs, environment configuration, and staging or production credentials used by our engineers while building, deploying, or fixing the software — limited to what is necessary for delivery and incident response.
We do not collect sensitive categories of personal data (such as health, biometric, or financial card data) unless a specific product requires it and that requirement is disclosed in writing for that product. Payment card numbers are processed by certified payment providers where applicable; Techbylanz does not store full card numbers.
How we use data — account management and development only
We use personal and account data only to: create and manage user accounts; authenticate users and enforce roles; respond to inquiries and deliver contracted development work; deploy, monitor, debug, and maintain applications; prevent fraud, abuse, and spam; and meet legal or contractual obligations.
We do not use client or end-user product data for advertising to third parties. We do not sell personal data. We do not train public AI models on private client or end-user data.
No data leak from Techbylanz
We treat prevention of data leaks as a core obligation. Client repositories, credentials, production databases, and end-user records are accessed only by authorized Techbylanz personnel who need them for the engagement. Access is revoked when work ends or a person leaves the project.
We do not publish private client data, dump production databases into public channels, share staging credentials outside the project team, or reuse one client’s data for another client’s product. Secrets are kept in environment configuration or secret managers — not hardcoded into public source.
If we become aware of a security incident that affects personal data we control, we will investigate promptly, take steps to contain the issue, and notify affected parties and authorities as required by applicable law and any client contract.
Sharing and subprocessors
We share data only when needed to run the service: hosting and infrastructure providers, email delivery, analytics, authentication, or payment processors acting on our instructions. Those providers process data under their own security and privacy terms.
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Techbylanz, our clients, or users. We do not sell or rent personal data lists.
Retention
Contact form and sales inquiry records are kept only as long as needed to respond and manage the relationship, then deleted or archived under ordinary business practice. Account data in products is retained while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for backups, dispute resolution, or legal requirements. Development credentials and temporary access are removed when no longer required for the engagement.
Security
We use industry-standard practices appropriate to a small studio: HTTPS, access controls, least-privilege credentials, and secure handling of environment secrets. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we work to reduce risk and prevent unauthorized access from our side.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, or to object to certain processing. For accounts inside a client-owned product, some requests may need to go through the client (the product owner) as well as Techbylanz.
To exercise privacy rights related to Techbylanz-controlled data, email us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
Our website and professional services are directed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices or products change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of our website or products after an update means you accept the revised policy, unless applicable law requires additional consent.
