What we shipped.
Leo Safety Systems needed a mobile command app for their GSM-enabled burglar and IoT security controllers. Facility managers, service engineers, and property teams had to arm, disarm, and inspect systems even when the site had poor internet.
Leo Nex sends control commands through the device's native SMS app: day/night modes, silence, evacuate, reset, and status. Users can store multiple device numbers with addresses, set a default unit, and keep a history of every command sent.
The app is live on Google Play as Leo Nex (com.leosafety.leonex), rated Everyone, with 500+ downloads. Roles such as Manager restrict which controls appear, so cashiers and field staff only see what they should touch.

GSM / SMS command bus
ARM, disarm, day/night, silence, evacuate, reset, and get-status — delivered via native SMS, not a fragile cloud hop.
Multi-device management
Save device phone numbers with site addresses, set a default system, and switch between locations from one dashboard.
Role-based controls
Managers see the full grid; restricted roles only get the actions they are allowed — fewer accidental alarm changes.
SMS history
An audit trail of what was sent, when, and to which device — useful for facilities and service engineers.
Customizable dashboard
Reorder and hide controls so technicians keep a tight grid of the functions they actually use.
Works offline-first
Core control does not depend on app servers or site Wi-Fi — if GSM can send an SMS, the alarm can be commanded.
